Missha Mascara base

I've been on a makeup ban for about 2 months and haven't bought ANYTHING until today. I was at Box hill today and went into Missha to have a look around. I remember on the Vogue forum there were raves about the Missha Mascara base. I wanted to know what all the rave was about so i bought.

I was excited about my new purchase so i tried it out as soon as i got home. The mascara base is a creamy consistency and white in color and its got tiny amounts of fiber to lengthen lashes. The mascara base seems to be quite dry compared to the tiffa and Shiseido mascara base.

The mascara base does lengthen and add volume to my bare naked lashes but not as much compared to my Tiffa mascara base. You need to be light handed when applying the base, otherwise it will look way too clumpy. Its best to apply your black mascara straight after the base or the base will dry and clump and makes it harder to comb out.

I used my crappy Maybelline great lash mascara after applying the base. Don't be fooled by the name "Great lash" because its not that great at all even though most Makeup Artist swear by it. It weighs down my curls and doesn't lengthen lashes at all. But when using it with Missha mascara base its actually not that bad BUT still not that great. I gonna test it out with other mascaras for better results!

Missha mascara base is only $8.90 which is MUCH cheaper compared to the Tiffa and Shiseido. But i think i still prefer my Tiffa and Shiseido because it actually holds my curls and doesnt weigh them down.

If your after something cheap then i suggest to give this a try considering its only $8! It may not that great for me but it might work better for others. But like i said, i'm still gonna try it out with other mascaras for better results.
