I got an email from Cheryl (trade show manager) to confirm the exhibitors. There will be more exhibitors to come but So far the confirmed exhibitors are:

IMATS Ticket!
I'm the biggest fan when it comes to mineral makeup especially everyday minerals. Why? Because its cheap, great quality and lasts for ages!

I've made 1 order the past month or so but never got around to posting it. And after reading Tao's blog about the Super custom kit being discontinued i had to make another order before its no longer available. The super custom kit is the only kit i get because its such a great bargain!

Everyday minerals never disappoint me because i seriously love all the products. The foundations give great coverage and most important of all it doesnt break me out and its cheap compared to BE!

I especially love the brushes i've never had any problems with shredding what so ever and the brushes are so cheap and GOOD! But the only 1 brush which let me down so far is the Fiber optic brush. Its not dense and its too floppy to work with and leaves a blotch of unblended foundation so i wouldn't rec applying foundation with it. It would probably work with applying blush though.

My new love is the retractable kabuki and the eye kabuki brush. The retractable is perfect for travelling or doing touch ups when your out. It also keeps the brush clean and hygienic too. The eye kabuki brush is perfect for those fine creases or areas you generally miss when applying your foundation e.g: nose, mouth area, and under the eyes.

I'm quite impressed with the pressed compacts especially the new design. The pressed compact which i originally had which is the one in the paper brown box is such a poor design! The new design looks much more durable. Its also got a clear flap attached to the compact to protect the powder from breaking you can place a powder puff inside the compact too. The pressed compact is a bit powdery so you need to blend it into the skin otherwise it will look blotchy.

My order from a few months ago consists of Day dream blush, intensive tan concealer, Winged butter, buttered tan, golden medium, finishing powder in Natural reflections golden tan, lip scrub, fiber optic brush, mini kabuki brush, blush brush and an eyeshadow (which I'm not too fond of)
Haul 1:
Golden Medium in semi matte base:
Buttered tan semi matte
Winged butter matte base:
i love the swivel filter because it stops the foundation from spilling out!
Pressed compact fairly light golden:

b.liv quench me moisturising gel

I've been using some products from a skincare range called blivskin by cellniq for about a week. I haven't heard much about this company but b.liv by cellniq was formerly known as the Cellnique Pro-Series. It is the new name for the skincare brand Cellniq Cosmaceutical (USA) Inc, specifcially for younger users.

B.liv pronounced as 'believe', was born from the desire to create a skincare brand with a difference. Apart from producing high quality skin care products b.liv also seeks to inspire todays young adults to believe in themselves that they can make a difference not only in the world they live in, but with the care of their skin with b.liv's simple 2-step skin care regime.

WHAT I LIKE:
- gel based and helps control oil shine
- no break outs
- moisturizing and doesn't dry my skin out

-
WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
- doesn't contain SPF
- product is quite expensive for such a small bottle

MY VERDICT:
This moisturizer is very light and it feels velvety smooth when applied on the skin. The moisturizer is gel based so its suitable for oily skin as well as sensitive skin. My skin type is acne prone/sensitive/oily t-zone and dry on the cheeks and this moisturizer doesn't break me out.

The only thing which i haven't tested with this product is how well it controls my oily t zone when using foundation. Because I've been using the Egyptian Magic cream its improved my skin so i haven't been using foundation lately just this moisturiser during the day!

Overall this is a good mosituriser for all skin type. The only down fall is that its pricey for a 50ml bottle but all you need is one pump for the entire face!

RATING:
4/5

Egyptian Magic cream All Purpose Healing Skin Cream

SO After all the hype about the Egyptian Magic cream i have finally jumped on the bandwagon. I wanted to see whats so 'magical' about this stuff which everyone has been raving about! So i've been using it for 1 week already and i'm already seeing a slight difference already. I was gonna wait for another week for better results but i bet you girls are dying for the review, so here it is!

Also, Besides using the Egyptian cream every night i have also increased my intake of Zinc for my skin!

What it is: (credits to MECCA.com.au)
This product is a phenomenal healing balm with legendary healing powers due to its mixture of all natural ingredients derived only from living plants and organisms.

Cleopatra is rumoured to have secretly used this concoction to enhance her beautiful skin and hair.
The magical blend can be used to heal burns and sunburn; blisters; cuts and scrapes; chicken pox marks and recently acquired stretch marks; to relieve razor bumps and ingrown hairs; insect bites; to heal skin blemishes; skin discolouration; dry, itchy and ashy skin; diaper and skin rash; skin fungus; hemorrhoids; chapped lips; athlete's foot; cracked skin; dry and itchy scalp; as a leg and facial shaving cream; aftershave lotion; for sun and wind protection; body moisturiser for even the most sensitive areas; hot body massage oil; cuticle oil and hot oil hair masque.
This product has been used with great success by sufferers of Eczema and Psoriasis.

Ingredients:
Olive oil, beeswax, honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis extract.

Size:
118ml/4oz

Packaging:
Comes in a a 118ml/4oz white tub with air tight screw on cap. They could've at least made the packaging more appealing considering the price you are paying for this product. The tub is 4oz so there is quite a lot of product in there, it is not user friendly because you have to dig your fingers into the tub. I hate double dip so i use a metal spatula instead.

Directions of use:
Because EM is oil based it is best to use it at night. Best to be used on damp skin which helps it easier to absorb. Start off by applying a small amount of EM in your fingers and rub the cream until it becomes an oil consistency and apply to skin until completely absorbed.

Price:
Price varies depending where you get it from. Ibelieive MECCA RRP is $70.

Where to purchase:

For Aussie buyers you can get it from MECCA. But you get a much better price if you get it from ebay.com

What i like:
-very moisturizing
-doesn't break me out
-The smell isn't over empowering and doesnt smell funky. There is a slight honey and olive oil smell to it
-its a big tub so it will last a long while
-Multipurpose cream can be used anywhere on the body and even hair
-enhances overall skin complexion

What i don't like:
-the ridiculous price for such simple ingredients. But considering the amount you get it will last your ages, a little goes along the way
-the packaging, bad hygience practice IMO
-EM is oil based so it takes ages to blend in order for your skin to be absorbed

My verdict:
This stuff sounds too good to be true.If yu read the reviews on makeupalley there are heaps of reviews on there. Its one of those love or hate products and doesn't work for everyone.

The Egyptian Magic seems to be so overrated so some people are skeptical about trying it. It contains 6 natural ingredients which are Olive oil, beeswax, honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis extract. So what do these simple ingredients do? and how does it work?(credits to google.com)
Olive oil: helps maintain moisture and absorbs easily to nourish deep beneath of the skins surface
beeswax: soothing and softening properties and helps the skin retain moisture. Also known for antiseptic and for wound healing
honey: Honey is extremely nourishing for the skin. It helps rejuvenate the skin preventing fine lines and wrinkles
pollen: stimulate skin tissue renewal
royal jelly: commonly associated with slowing the aging process, nourishing the skin and erasing facial blemishes and wrinkles.
propolis extract: Used as antibacterial and antimicrobial benefits. Helps speed up the healing process

My skin type is a combo of oily, dry, sensitive, acne prone you name it! I've been using the EM for a week and it hasn't broken me out. The EM is oil based so it can cause clogged pores and break outs for some girls.

Because the EM is oil based it is best to use it at night. This stuff is way too oily and heavy to wear during the day so i only advise you to use it at night unless you are using it as a body moisturiser. Surprisingly it doesn't make my face even more oily because it tricks your skin thinking that it is already producing oil, that will your skin will stop secreting oil due to the amount of oil you have on your face already (was told by my beauty therapist at Clarins)

This stuff is really easy to apply I apply the EM after toning while it is still damp because it will help absorb into the skin. I then gently massage it all over my face and eyes. At this point your face should look really greasy but your skin will slowly absorb it.

After using it for 1 week i noticed my skin is much more smoother and silky, the scars on my face are slightly less noticeable, and my skin complexion has improved.

The other good thing is the EM is all purpose healing cream so it can be used for different purposes. I've also been using it as a hand moisturizer and even on the ends of my hair!

Overall i do like this product but i'm not over the moon about it. There are mixed reviews on this product so really its a individual thing whether you love or hate it. Its not a miracle product where everyone HAS to go out and purchase it or anything and like i said it doesn't work for everyone. So do get a sample before purchasing a whole tub.

NOTE:
My skin has mood swings occasionally and i do break out. I've been breaking out lately due to exams and stress! So now that my skin has finally returned to its original state i'am not certain whether its the EM that's doing an amazing job in the after photo or its the Zinc i have been taking the last week!

Rating:
3/5

Repurchase:
Will definitely repurchase after i get through this gigantic tub!

Egyptian Magic Cream:

After:Forehead:
I've had those little scars for ages! The scar right near my right eyebrow is starting to fade
After:
Nothing dramatic but but scars are slightly fading

Egyptian Magic Cream

I've jumped on the bandwagon finally! I've been using the Egyptian cream pretty much every night so i will def do a review in about a weeks time. Its only been 2 days since i've used it and i'am seeing great results! I'am sure Egyptian Magic has been around for ages but because being in Australia we are so slow with everything, or at least i'am haha.

The Egyptian cream is a multipurpose cream which can be used for burns, ecezma, scars, cuticle cream, hand cream, moisturiser, improve skin tone etc! It probably sounds too good to be true! I've read reviews on this on makeupalley its one of those love or hate products so it may not work for everyone. So i've

The Egyptian cream is quite pricey and for those for are considering trying it out and don't want to fork out a fortune, or don't know whether it works for them i am selling sample pots. I bought 2 tubs of EM and 1 tub is strictly for personal use ONLY and the other tub is for sample pots only. And of course being a Nurse i'am quite anal when it comes to hygiene practice and contamination etc. So I did wipe down everything with alcohol wipes before putting the EM into little sample jars. And no, i didn't use my fingers I used a metal spatula for the whole process!

I will be doing a full review on this very shortly so bare with me. I did purchse the Egyptian Magic with my own money so i'am not being paid by the company what so ever.

Egyptian Magic cream:
details:
My skin before applying EM:
i have little red dots on the side of my face and pimple scars
The very next morning:
skin felt so smooth and scars aren't as visible.
EM sample pots:
I have about 3 sample pots for sale email me if your interested at elizabethleung@gmail.com
It will probably last up to 2 weeks but then again depending on the amount you use and where you apply it.
Sorry girls Only available to Aussie buyers only

Beauty basics: Concealer

Yep i'm procrastinating again and i'am so good at it!! Isn't in funny when i have all the time on my hands i don't update my blog. But when I've got a million of things to do i still manage to find the time to blog!

Concealer is one the main ingredients to flawless face. Now not everyone is blessed with perfect skin and i do however envy those who are blessed with perfect skin!

One of my main problem is discoloration around my eye area and dark circles, how lucky am i! Dark circles can be caused by a variety of things eg: lack of sleep (but apparently its a myth!) so no matter how many hours of sleep i get i still wake up looking like i've had no sleep at all. Unfortunately mine is hereditary so there is nothing i can do to improve the appearance of it.

Now you probably hear Makeup artists say to always choose a shade that matches your skin tone, or 1 shade lighter than your skin tone. But Honestly i don't think it works, well at least for me it doesn't. Now before anyone decides to have a go at me I am NOT trying to say that they are wrong or whatever. I could be wrong myself but I'm just sharing with you all with what works best for me and hopefully it will work for others too.

I like to use a concealer shade which is 1-2 shade darker than my actual skin tone. I know, it sounds crazy but it works for me. I findd that whenever i use a lighter shade or a a shade close to my skin tone it creates a shadow and it enhances the dark shadows. Not only that but it makes it look "ashy". I also noticed when taking photos i can see light patches around my eye area.

I find that when using a darker concealer it helps to neutralize the dark circle and you don't get that horrible grey patch under the eyes.

The undertone of the concealer is also important. Yellow based will help cancel out blue. But be careful because mixing yellow with blue will give you green! So instead try using a pink based concealer or a salmon color.

My fav all time concealer is probably MAC studio finish concealer in NW30. Its way to dark to be used on my face but its perfect for concealing my eye area. You only need to use the TINIEST amount because its quite thick and gives full coverage. If you do decide to use a darker concealer make sure you blend it out really well into your foundation.

Heres a little test....
Bare naked eye:
Discoloration and dark circles:

NYX concealer in a pot in beige:
abnormally white, slightly visible grey shadow
MAC Studio finish concealer in NW30:
covers everthing perfectly!Moving onto my fav liquid concealers. These offer light-med coverage
Cream concealers:

Beauty tech ice cream concealer: medium-heavy
MAC studio finish concealer NW30: med-heavy
MAC studio sculpt concealer NW30: medium-heavy
